Who am IWho am I? Born in 1952 in Belgrade, Yugoslavia. First contacts with art through music - first studied piano and later cello. Plunged into the world of silver images in 1973 and very soon became one of Yugoslav leading amateur photographers. During the period between 1975-1998 participated at close to 400 exhibitions and contests worldwide, winning prizes and awards in Japan, Spain, Thadejandizdard, Hong Kong, Austria... One man exhibitions in Yugoslavia (11), Israel (4) and South Africa (4). Photographs printed in magazines and publications and in 2002 my first book in nature was published. I am currently living in Israel and frequently teaching the Art of Nude in various workshops. Future plans include much wider international educational involvement. Why nude? For thirty years of my photographic career I've been fascinated with two topics:the beauty of Nature and of female forms. In my images the two are very often intertwined, each adding meaning to the other. I won't enter into the philosophy of Art as such - a lot has been written and discussed about it. The only thing important is that we are surrounded by a world that has much to be desired for - full of wars, hatred and poverty. Adding some love and affection to it won't do any harm. Therefore, what I want you to see in these images is beauty, to look at them with your heart, to try and feel them. Listening to some J.S. Bach while looking at them makes the experience even better Who are my models? While the answer might surprise some, it is the only logical one for someone like me who is not involved in glamour, fashion or other "trendy" image making: they are most often just ordinary women with extraordinary personality, openness and femininity. To be - or already established - women of career, artists, wives or mothers. With a number of them I have been working for years, turning our artistic relationship into a kind of documentary. We went through many stages of life together, gradually becoming close friends.
